About

Bio: I’m just a Brooklyn girl in her mid twenties figuring out who I am. Some might describe me as quiet or introverted. I'm never the life of the party, and it takes a lot for me to be mildly social at these parties. If I attend. I enjoy spending my time reading, writing, listening to music, following my favorite teams, following pop culture and venturing out into the city. In this space, you'll likely get to know me better as I write about my struggles, overcoming challenges, my hopes and dreams, my fears, my ups and downs, and more.

  1. Hello- as mentioned above, I too relate to you as you are now, in your twenties. However, I’m in my fifties now and after reading your RISK TAKER blog I just want to advise you to do as you said- step out of your complacency – or you’ll be in your fifties–writing the same thing. Ships in Harbour- nice finish!

  2. Nikki;
    It is enjoyable experience to read your “About” page. Going through your “About” page, I found that

    looking to your nature, creating your own blog is one of the most wonderful thing you have ever done.
    Only one friendly suggestion “Try to comment on someone’s blog, make some like minded-people your friend, share your story, success, failures with others; and slowly but steadily your introvert nature will become extrovert” because, blogging is all about “Caring and Sharing” the more you care about others the more others care about you.
    Though, I am not suppose to say, but, if you have spare time, read my recent post, share your views there and you will find some amazing good friends also.
    Wishing you all the best…………………………

  4. I can definitely relate to your descriptions here. I’m a party sneaker. I come because I feel I should, but so many times, I find myself slowly sneaking out, wishing to be home in front of a book instead. I’m trying to slowly become a bit more social (don’t want to be one of those shut-ins -turned-witch by the local kids in the neighborhood), but it’s definitely not an easy road. Good luck in NY and good luck during Blogging 201!
